The Cherokee Braves flag was carried by Colonel Stand Watie’s Cherokee Mounted Rifles; the body of the flag is the First National pattern flag of the Confederate States; the canton is blue with eleven white stars in a circle, surrounding five red stars representing the Five Civilized Tribes (Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw and Seminole); the large red star in the center represents the Cherokee Nation.

  • 3′ x 5′
  • “Cherokee Braves” is lettered in red in the center of the white stripe

*We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. Flag life is dependent on many factors such as turbulence when being used on a vehicle.

I’ve been wanting to replace the one I had and Rebel Nation had them and at a good price. They arrived in a timely fashion.

I ordered the Cherokee Braves flag but ended up receiving the Choctaw Braves flag. I waited too long to return or exhange it, but that’s on me. I was afraid to trust rebelnationok with my business again but I ended up ordering the Rebel Eagle POW flag and the 3×5 Half American Half Confederate flag and I’m glad I trusted them. Received both correct flags and am happy with the price and quality, more than made up for the intial mistake.
